Michelle G. Wiejaczka is the founder and owner of Wiejaczka Law, responsible for direction of the firm and client development. Although she is an experienced trial attorney, she excels in alternate dispute resolution processes, including collaborative practice and mediation. Licensed in both Illinois and Missouri, Michelle is frequently appointed by the court to serve as mediator. Michelle regularly participates in matters assigned to mediation by the Courts in Lake and McHenry County. A former Assistant State’s Attorney (McHenry County) for almost nine years, she entered private practice in 1994, and founded Wiejaczka Law in 2005.
Michelle graduated with High Honors from Southern Illinois University and was named a University Scholar with a degree in Administration of Justice. She earned her law degree from the Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, where she was inducted into the Order of the Barristers in recognition of her courtroom advocacy skills.
Michelle is a member of the Lake County Bar Association, McHenry County Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and the Association of Women Attorneys of Lake County. Michelle has served on the Board and the Executive Board of the Association of Women Attorneys of Lake County.
Sally E. Fleissner is the Paralegal for Wiejaczka Law, P.C. She lives locally and has three grown children. She has been employed at Wiejaczka Law, P.C. since 2011. She received her A.A.S. in Paralegal Studies from the College of Lake County in 2011; was also a member and Officer of both the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and Pupils of Paralegals Studies Club. In December 2014, she received her B.A. from Roosevelt University in Chicago where she also received a Paralegal Certificate. She graduated from both schools with high honors and made the Dean’s lists.
